Shipping policy
All deliveries will take place during normal business hours Monday -Friday 9 am to 5 pm unless arranged otherwise.
All deliveries contain valuable goods. Our couriers are contracted to produce proof of delivery. If you will not be home to accept delivery you may wish to arrange delivery to a neighbour or your office. If you are comfortable with having your order left at your front door, please indicate this in your extra delivery instructions. Please note that we take no responsibility for missing goods if you select this option.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct at the time of dispatch. Re-direction fees may apply if goods have already been dispatched.
Bayside Furniture uses external freight services. It is the customer's responsibility to track the delivery progress with the courier once items are despatched. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time and take no responsibility with any delivery delay due to the external courier’s schedule.
Bayside Furniture reserves the right to revise the freight cost calculated by the system if there are any errors or if there was an increase in the freight costs by the courier companies.
Interstate Shipping Policy - WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS ONLY
- This will be at a charge of 15% of the total value of the goods on the invoice (excluding the freight charge).
- This will apply to all sales with interstate deliveries’ that our customer wishes Bayside Furniture to organise on their behalf.
- This will apply for the freight of goods outside our delivery service (goods being delivered with an external Freight Forwarding company).
- This will NOT apply to any goods being delivered with your own nominated freight forwarding company (i.e. a freight forwarder you are dealing with directly and being charged directly).
This Policy is to cover the following;
- Liability arising from cargo damage during the transit, any consequential loss faced by Bayside Furniture due to late delivery or physical damage of goods are some of the major risk exposures faced by a freight forwarder.
- Any loss incurred to Bayside Furniture due to negligent acts performed by freight forwarders, their agents or subcontractors.
Picking up order
Our warehouse is only open for pickups on an appointment basis during business hours (Monday to Saturday). Unless arranged otherwise.
Collection times are by appointment only and we require 24 hours’ notice. Please contact 03 5221 0122 and quote your order number or invoice number.
Valid government-issued ID must be produced upon pick up if you opt to collect goods from our warehouse. If you cannot be present for pick up, or if you are sending a courier or third party to collect your order, you are required to scan and email your ID to authorise the pickup. We reserve the right to withhold goods if we cannot perform a satisfactory identity check for security reasons.
As we are protecting credit cardholders and ourselves from recent fraudulent transactions in the market, we hope for your understanding in our effort to identify fraudsters in the market.
Valid ID will be Australian driver’s license, Passport, Medicare card.
